Unfortunately, we were no longer able to get to know Ruth personally. I am sincerely sorry.
I know how much Ruth meant to the family and that she will be sorely missed. I hope you will tell me about her.
I wish you time to mourn, but also many moments when you can think of Granny with a smile.

To Ruth’s Family:
Please accept my sincere condolences on Ruth’s passing. She was one of my very favorite customers at the Post Office in Upper Tantallon. She was always so gracious and genuine; we still have her beautiful Christmas Cards she so generously gave us each year and still display them. It was such a privilege to have known her.
Helen and Lionel MacLean
My husband and I send our sincere condolences on the passing of Ruth. She was part of our graduating class that joined together for lunch each fall until Covid came along and we haven’t seen one another for three years. I knew she wasn’t well the last time we met and I received one of her yearly Xmas cards decorated with her special penmanship. I regret I didn.t send any cards this year to anyone and was going to reply to her, but I waited too long. She will be missed but definitely remembered .Our thoughts and sympathy to all the family.
