It is with great sadness we announce the early passing of Jeremy Wreggitt, age 50, at the South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater, NS. on Wedeneday, September 8, 2021.
He is survived by his loving husband of 20 years Magella Vallee as well by his mother Jacklyn Wreggitt of Huntsville, Ontario who loved him unconditionally and predeceased by his father Garry Wreggitt.
Jeremy had many aunts, uncles and cousins and so many friends that will miss his cheerful and friendly personality. He was such a bright light in all our lives. The past few years have been very difficult for him but he never complained and faced all with such strength and courage.
His passion was creating beautiful quilts, wall hangings or any type of clothing. He loved sewing for other people knowing they would look fabulous and feel great. His dogs were a huge part of his life as well, always right by his side. No matter how badly he felt he was always so concerned about his fur babies.
He never had the opportunity to complete all that he had started but prevailed to his end.
Our hearts are broken. We will miss his cherub smiling face but to know he is reunited with his father and grandparents that he loved so much is a small deliverance.
Rest in Peace Jeremy knowing you have made such a beautiful difference in all the lives you have met along the way.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. At Jeremy’s request, there will be no funeral service. In Jeremy’s honor and in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Kidney or Diabetes Foundation Canada. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com

Condolences to the family. I met Jeremy when he had briefly moved to Winnipeg. We worked together at Home Outfitters. He was such a nice human and I remember how much he loved Magella and their dogs. Once he moved back to Ontario we stayed connected on Facebook and it was always nice seeing him express his creativity with his sewing projects. I am saddened to hear of his passing. May he Rest In Peace.

I was privileged to work with Jeremy for several years here in Ottawa. He was so much fun in a mischievous cherub kind of way. He actually made me look forward to going in to work each day. His sharp wit was tempered but such a gentle caring heart. I will never forget his angelic face with the devilish gleam in his eye. A little piece of my heart has gone with him. My heart goes out to Magella and Jacklyn and all the rest of the people Jeremy touched in his life. He will always remain in our hearts.
Rest well now Jer Bear.

Jeremy and I went to Georgian college together. He took me to see Phantom of the Opera for the first time and I absolutely loved it. We spent many days and nights together working on projects, going to pubs or just hanging out. He made sweaters and a beautiful quilt for my baby boy. I am so sorry for your loss. May his beautiful soul Rest In Peace. Will think of you always Jeremy ❤️

I think I only shared one class with Jeremy in high school but I remember him as if it was only yesterday. I didn’t know him very well, but I knew him well enough to know that the world is a lesser place without him. My deepest sympathies to those who held him close.
