Jacqueline Patricia Woodworth 79
It is with a heavy heart and much sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jackie.
Born in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late Gordon S. and Helen J. (Hubbard) Blakely.
Jackie excelled at everything she set her heart to. No stranger to a hammer or saw having helped build three family homes. Bowling (obtaining 300 pins). Judo with several belts. She loved cooking, curling, dancing, and painting but her primary love was her family.
She will be sadly missed by husband Bligh, son’s Bligh Jr (Betty), David, Peter (Cindy), 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brothers Steven, John (Linda), David (Peggy), Gordon Jr (Irene), sisters Geraldine (O’Hearn), Catherine (Emery), Helena (Walker), Caroline (Trevors), Theresa (Melanson).
Besides her parents, Jackie was predeceased by sisters Rita, Anna, Ethel and brothers Clarence and Herbie.
The body will be cremated and a private service for family will take place at a later date in Miramichi, NB. No flowers. Donations may be made to St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, Liverpool or palliative care. A special thank you to who helped care for Jackie over the past four years – Dr MacDonald, Dr Crawford, Dr Gowan, Halifax Cancer Center, Queen’s General and the nurses of palliative care, VON, etc. Thank you.
Offer Condolence for the family of Woodworth; Jacqueline Patricia
