To Bert’s Family: My sincere condolences to Bert’s family. I worked with him many years ago in the Sales and Traffic Department at Bowaters. He was always very kind and helpful. We always stopped for a chat when I would meet him on the street in Liverpool. May your memories keep him close to all of you.

My fond memory of Bert goes back to him as my math teacher.
He was tough with me but fair. I learned more than math from him.
When Involved with band as well he continued to receive respect.
He will be missed and my condolences to the family.
