
WHYNOT – Vivian I., 77, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
Born in Kipling, ON, Vivian was a daughter of the late Elmer and Thelma (Wicklander) Ackerland.
Vivian worked at Queens General Hospital in housekeeping/laundry and worked for the former Starvin’ Marvin’s. She knitted for Suttles and Seawinds for years, loved to garden, was an avid bingo player and enjoyed her soap operas and Facebook.
Vivian is survived by her daughter Sonya Whynot (Mark Harris) of Jordan Falls; her grandchildren Tenisha Yee and Kaden Harris; her sister Edith Fisher of ON and her brothers Allen (Pat) of Sudbury, ON and Randy of Kipling, ON.
Besides her parents, Vivian was predeceased by her husband Rodney and her sisters Pamela Ackerland and Linda Lemonson.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. At Vivian’s request, there will be no funeral service. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
