Whynot, Stanley Stephen, 66, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away on Monday, August 19th, 2013, in the Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.
Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Beatrice (Slauenwhite) and Clarence Whynot.
He worked many years at Mersey Seafood and for Chris & James Tree Removal. Stanley could often be found socializing in front of the Liverpool Post Office. He enjoyed playing Kingo and drinking McDonald’s coffee.
He is survived by daughters Diane (Richard) Warner, of Liverpool, Teresa Whynot (Cory Moulton), of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Amanda Whynot, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Teresa Burns (Wendell Whynot), of Milton; son David (Teresa Smith), of Liverpool; 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; sister Sandra (Arnold) Johnson, of Coldbrook; brothers Norman (Hazel), of Milton, Paul (Shirley), of Liverpool, Carl (Janet), of Bridgewater; sisters-in-law Jessie and Betty, both of Milton; longtime friend Rhoda Thorburne; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by an infant granddaughter Diane; sisters Carrie Oickle, Maria White; brothers James “Bruddy”, Lawrence, John and Donald in infancy.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside service to celebrate Stanley’s Life will be held on Friday, August 23rd, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., from Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Road, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating, Family Flowers only. Donations may be made to Trinity Anglican Church, Liverpool. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.chandlersfuneral.com

Sorry to hear about uncle Stanley, he is at peace now .
we are very sorry to hear about stanley,s passing we are all going to missed him coming out to the bottle depot and standing at the front of the post office everyday our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family he is now flying with the angels in heaven .stanley will be reunited with dougie and earl .

To the family of the late Stanley Whynot….sincere sympathy goes out to the family. Stanley will be missed by many..he was a man who would have done anything for everyone….Rest In Peace Stanley….you are free from pain.
I am so very sorry that Stanley has passed away. When I visited my Aunt who was in hospital the same time as Stanley, I had an opportunity to speak with him on Friday. I remember seeing him about town having conversations with his buddies. He will be missed. My sincere condolences.

We grew to know Stanley over the many weeks he spent in the hospital, usually next to my dad. He also had a friendly hello and a generous wave for anyone who stopped by. My whole family grew to like Stanley very much and I know he will be missed by many.
