Shirley and her husband Roy were a huge part of my childhood. Shirley doted on us as children and Monica and I loved them both like family.
Shirley was at our house at least once a day. She loved to joke and have fun. She had a a huge heart and was always kind to us, even when we raided her garden or took over the building as a playhouse.
I will miss you.
Rest easy Shirley. ❤️

I am saddened to hear Shirley has passed but thankfully she lived a long life although like most, not without problems.
I grew up right next door and as a young girl, she and her husband Roy were kind enough to provide me with a job for spending money for me. I have many memories of cleaning their home weekly. Her presence was felt on a daily basis with her visits to our home. RIP Shirley! God bless you!

Condolences to all the family and friends. I met Shirley and Roy through my parents, when first moving to Port Medway many years ago. Both very kind and caring. I remember her smile and laugh and that twinkle in her eye when she joked with you. Always wanting to share her beautiful garden, her cooking and crafting skills and welcome you to their home. A beautiful soul, she willed be missed, may she rest in peace.

I so remember seeing Shirley in my growing up years when we would visit Port Medway and walk up the road to Archie Smith’s store and Brenda Meisner’s store. She would always come out and talk to us — very friendly and pleasant — and also seeing her with her husband, Roy. My sincere condolences to all her family!

Shirley will be missed by so many friends and family. She loved to spend time with family when she was able to get around and loved to eat. Pizza was one of her favourites. We shared alot of good time together. Kenny spent many hours with Shirley and Roy when he was growing up. Also I would like to mention that she had 3 more sisters that had passed before her. Jean Clattenburg from New Bedford, Mass, Vida Greek from Lunenburg and Beatrice that passed away as a baby. Rest in peace dear Shirley.
