WHYNOT – Norman E., 72, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11th, 2013 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.
Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Eugene and Tessie (Cunningham) Whynot.
Norman was a pipefitter by trade and worked for Percy Mouzar Plumbing, Whynot Services, Bowater Mersey Paper Company and STENPRO. His passion was his cattle and all farm animals, but his love was for his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughters Vivian (Bruce) Croft of Liverpool, Vicky (Robert) McKinnon and Dale (Richard) McKinnon, both of Milton and Tracy Whynot (Randy Karlsen) of Beech Hill. 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. His sister Ethel (Eugene) Ingram of Liverpool and her brothers Alan of Milton, Harvey of Liverpool, Myles (Angela) of Oxford and Ronald (Linda) of Milton.
He was predeceased by his wife Nina (Boudreau) and brothers Farish and Percy.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, March 16th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Milton Community Cemetery, Milford Street, Milton. No flowers. Donations may be made to any charity. With great sadness, I offer my sincere condolences to Norman’s entire family. Norman and Nina were our neighbors for 40 years and we spent many great times at their home over those years. I will treasure these memories forever. Norman and Nina are now having a happy reunion in Heaven. You are all in my thoughts during this very sad time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. Visiting with Norman & Nina was like coming home. No matter the time of day they welcomed everyone with open arms. Norman is now in the arms of his beloved Nina.

So sorry for your loss its never easy to loose someone especially a parent. Theres nothing to say that will make it better but it will get easier with time. Cherish your memories it will get you through it thinking of you all at this sad difficult time.

I am saddened to hear of Norman’s passing. A good man and a special friend. It was my privilege to know Norman and work with him for many years. He always time for a joke or a yarn, more than a few which come to mind now.

My thoughts are with you all at this time. I know how very much you all loved your dad. It was nice to meet him again, while in the hospital. It has been a good many years, since i have seen Norman. Takes me back to when I lived on Tupper Street and Vivian used to baby sit for me. Keep your dads memories close to your heart and smiles when you think of him. I could certainly tell that Norman loved his family as much as you loved him. May god Bless.
