
WHYNOT – Geraldine M., 90, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital on Wednesday, August 22, 2018.
Born in Ketch Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Pheobe (Foster) Flemming.
Geraldine worked for Mersey Seafoods for over thirty years in processing. She was an avid church goer, taught Sunday school, enjoyed doing puzzles, crosswords, going for drives and shopping.
Geraldine is survived by her sisters Gladys Gray of West Pennant, NS; Catherine Gilkie of Spryfield, NS and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Gordon T. , her sister Jennie Whynot and her brothers Arthur and Francis.
Visitation will be Monday, August 27, 2018 from 1 until 2 p.m. followed by a service at 2:00 p.m., both in the Highway Pentecostal Assembly, Sandy Cove. Pastor Fred Carr officiating. Reception to follow. Burial will be in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Road, Liverpool. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Highway Pentecostal Assembly, Sandy Cove.
