Whynot, Doris May, 91 of Milton, Queens County passed away at Harborview Haven ,Lunenburg, NS on Sunday, October 6, 2019.
Born in Milton, NS on August 19, 1928 Doris was the daughter of the late Herbert and (OliveWamboldt) Whynot.
Doris enjoyed spending time with her family, many friends, bingo, and evenings in the common room when she lived in Riverside Apartments in Milton.
Doris is survived by daughters Gloria Aulenback (Gary Conrad), Gert Whynot (Fred Westhaver), Liverpool, NS, Donna (Eric Dahr) Halifax, NS, Nancy (Richard Johnstone), Medicine Hat, Alberta, Elizabeth (Nelson Boland), Mersey Point, NS and son Bill (Donna) Liverpool, NS. Grandchildren Jimmy, Todd, Paula, Scott, Tammy, Sarah, Adam, Mark, Corinne and Melanie. 12 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Irving, Elwood, Cecil, Jordan and Roger.
Doris was predeceased by husband Bill, sisters Midge, Mary, Catherine, and Elizabeth, brothers Junior, Ronald and grandson Billy Dahr and great grandson Eric Dahr.
There will be no funeral service.

My condolences to the family of Doris. I got to know Doris through my Mom and she always had a kind word. When I had my son she always asked about him. I don’t know how she kept so many names straight. Over the years, as she got older, I would wonder where she was. No matter how old we get it is a very sad thing to lose your Mom, so take care everyone and know she is in a better place.

To Doris’ family, we were so sorry to hear about Doris. She was a room mate of Marguerite Berringer and we, members of Marguerite’s family enjoyed the time we spent with Doris while visiting. We had many laughs, sang songs together and totally enjoyed each other. We have many great memories of Doris and hope the memories you have will help to ease the sadness in you’re hearts now. Age means nothing when it comes to losing a loved one ! She will live on in each and every one of your hearts ! She will never be forgotten !!
