Dear Sandra, Geraldine, Wayne & Rickey,
I am so sorry to hear that Russell has passed away. So many years have gone by, since your family lived here in Milton and we knew each other so well, but I have never forgotten any of you and know that your hearts must be hurting right now.
Russell was such a nice person and I remember him well. I’m sure that you all have good memories of him, to store in your hearts and treasure in the years ahead. Share those stories with one another and don’t be afraid to laugh at some of the more comical memories, even as you grieve your loss. Russell would be happy to know that you have good memories of him.
Although God has called Russell home to be with Him, take time to pause and remember that his spirit has only slipped out of the ‘earth suit’ that God lent to him to use while he was still here on Earth, but no longer needs. His soul is alive and well, and he is no doubt happier and healthier than he ever dreamed of being when he was still here with us!
I will be keeping you all in my prayers as you try to aborb and accept Russell’s passing and plan for a graveside service here in Milton, in the upcoming months. Until then, take care of yourselves and know that you are loved.
