Uncle Rannie was a patient, gentle man, making time to give a helping hand where ever possible. He loved the elements and enjoyed mentoring the younger troops. He was the last of the original founders of the Ridge Camp and while he will be missed he won’t be forgotten, he is now joining his buddies. His legacy will live on through his large family who he was so justly proud. Rest in peace Uncle Rannie.

Oh my, now there is the passing of a fine man, and a life well lived. Our condolences to the entire family. It will be difficult to imagine a life without Mr West there, but I know you have many wonderful memories. I especially enjoyed his quiet manner and lovely smile, always there when he came to the doctor’s office where I worked. And a little twinkle in his eye. Our sincerest sympathies to you all.
