THE DALBY FAMILY AND WENTZELL. OUR HEARTFELT SYMPATHY TO ALL. MARY ANN WAS A FRIEND WE KNEW ALL MY LIFE. ACTUALLY I WAS BORN IN HER FAMILY HOME. SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. LOVE AND PRAYERS. GOD BLESS ALL.
Bruce Inglis
My sympathies to Mary-Anne’s family. A visit to her home was a guaranteed slam dunk for fantastic baked goods and for a cup of tea. I took special pleasure in talking politics, because neither or us ever said something the other didn’t heartily agree with. She was a very strong woman in her life and in her convictions. I’m sure that Simon is “singing” the theme song to his favourite television programs for her already. I will very much miss my visits with this very special lady.
Joan and Stephen

My family and I are sad to hear of Mary Ann’s passing. She was a,ways so much fun to have in the school. We worked together for many years and never a cross word passed her lips. Mind you, she bit those lips many times too. She was another mother to my son Matthew when he and Michael were friends in Junior High.
The students all loved Mary Ann and she made Tikki, Tikki Tembo a famous, well read book in every class she entered. They were so glad when it was their turn to have her visit.
The teachers loved her cooking and baking and we always ate well when Mary Ann was around. What a lovely person. May you cherish the memories you have of her and the fun she always created. I am so glad to have known her.

To all the family, I am so sorry to hear of Maryanne’s passing, what a shock upon arriving home to hear the news, she will be missed for many things, my crib partner for many years, former neighbor, the sauerkraut dinner at New Years that always included Victor and I, I could go on and on but she was a great lady and we will miss her, again I am sorry for your sorrow.
Mary and Rod Keirstead
Mary Ann was a very special lady. In the staff room at North Queens she was a driving force, a gentle lively spirit. I was a member of a hooking group she taught in one of the vacant warde houses at Keji. This was back in the early 80s when Jordan was Chief Park Warden. What a lot of laughter there was, and how strict she was when it came to doing our stitches just right! What I remember most was her total devotion to Jordan, how much she adored him. The world was a better place with Mary Ann in it.
