“Back in the day” The BeeGees wrote a song called How can you mend broken Heart? I’ve been trying to figure that out since I got the news on Saturday. Kind and loving mother, wife and grandmother, all be it, not always patient. Was always right, even when she was wrong.Knew almost everyones “family history”. Was an excellent employee, even though she wanted to quit two hours into her first day, she she stayed over 18 years. She mentored many a server, welcomed many a guest, and almost always remembered what everyone liked. Isabelle and Jacob were the light of her life, Roger and Shannon, her pride and joy, and Roy was the love of her life and always a kiss in the morning before dropping her off at work. And Roger, she really did forgive the car, she just liked to mess with you. The Transcotia Motel will never be the same. We always joked about getting on the buss together and until then Alana was to look after us at the Manor. Making sure we had an ample supply of wine and “vodger”. My employee, my coworker, my sounding board, my friend, I miss you. Cheers!! Until we meet again. Roy, Roger and Shannon, my deepest sympathies.
