To Irene’s family …
Irene was been a neighbor of ours ever since we moved in the neighborhood and built our house …She was always so friendly and I loved visiting her ..Irene and her husband Laurie tended bar at the Milton dances for years . She took great pride in keeping a record of the proceeds for each and every dance .Those were good days . She often told me about the times when she and the ladies of the community were young mothers and dressed up as hobos and went to each others homes for tea ..I think ,if I am not wrong in saying, it was done through the Church …Richard and I have a bundle of good memories to cherish ….Peggy and Richard Hatt

I sent condolences earlier but felt I wanted to again, She lived a full and long life so she was lucky and so were you. It has been quite a few years since she left us as a neighbor but I still refer to the house as Irene’s. So sorry she won’t be coming back for a visit but she will be happy now with your Dad.

Dear Clayton and family – Aunt Irene was the best, loved going to visit. I remember getting caught setting the garbage can on fire in the upstairs bathroom and also enjoying standing over the furnace grate.
