Bev, Phyllis, Betty Lou….my heart aches for you.all. I loved your mom, like my own. I think of through the years of growing up, making clothes for me, spending the night, loving all those sweets she made early every morning for Don and Freem. Watched her crochet, quilt, such wonderful memories I have, so can only imagine your great memories. I talked with her after lunch, the day Doris passed and she was just as alert as ever. Knew me, talked about the weather, crocheting. I’m thankful I had that last chat with her. As you grieve, think on these and they will help you. George grew to love her also. We love you and and grieve with you.

Dear Phyllis, Beverly, & Betty Lou & Families,
I was actually surprised when mom called to tell me Doris had passed away. It seemed she would go on forever, bringing people joy and loving their visits. Your parents had such a positive influence on my father, starting and nurturing his love for farming and cattle, and being wonderful friends for so many years. I wonder how many batches of strawberry jam mom made just because “ we are going to visit Doris tomorrow “. I loved hearing stories of those visits which always made them happy. She will be missed by many but now will hear, “ Well done, good and faithful servant … enter into the joy of your Lord.”
With sincere sympathy and fond memories,
Janice (Allen) and Marc Potvin
