WEAGLE – Keith Robinson, 71, of Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia.
Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Owen and Mildred (Weagle) Weagle.
Keith was a truck driver for most of his life having to retire due to illness. His last employment was as a tractor trailer driver for Armour Transportation Systems where he became a member of the Million Miles Club for accident free service.
He is survived by his wife Darlene (Henley); his sons, Keith of Halifax, Jeffrey, at home, Frank, Richard (Patricia Fisher) and Kevin (Shelley) all of Brooklyn; three grandsons; one great grand daughter; Half sister, Vera Slauenwhite of Sweetland and half brother Sterling Connolly of Danesville.
He was predeceased by his brothers Wade and Archibald “Archie”.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A celebration of Keith’s life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com

Dear Darlene and families
It was a pleasure to be one of Keith’s caregivers at NQNH, when he first came to us we would get such a chuckle out of him when we took him for walks in the hallways, he always wanted to stop and check everything out, and we would ask him to dance and he would try to sing and diddle his feet around. Keith is now at peace, free of pain! I enjoyed our talks we had at the home Darlene, please don’t be a stranger, stop in and visit us !! Take care!!
Condolences to Keith’s family. He was a great man and an expert when it came to truck driving. I consider it a priviledge to have done business with him over the years.
Keith was a hard working family man with nothing too much trouble for him. He built his own home and spent long hours on the road. He had a good sense of humor and a kind heart helping out others whenever he could. He did not deserve to be struck down with the terrible disease of Alzheimer’s while in his prime.
