WAMBOLDT – M. Crystal, 63, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away peacefully in North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia on Friday, October 13, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Liverpool, Crystal was a daughter of the late Earl “Sonny” and Rosalind Joan (Roy) Hanson.
Crystal worked for a time with C.W. MacLeod Fisheries and Mersey Seafoods as a fish processor.
Crystal is survived by her husband Randy, daughter Joan (Stephen Whynot) of Liverpool, son George (Tracy Fox) of White Point. 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Step sister Tanya (Chad) Whynot of Kingston; “step mother” Cynthia Whynot of Liverpool.
Besides her parents, Crystal was predeceased by her son Mark and brothers David, Darren and Danny.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Visitation will be Friday, October 20, 2023 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. with prayers being said at 7:30 pm. No flowers by request, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com.

    My sincere condolences to George and all Crystal’s family. I remember Crystal as a quiet and sweet girl who grew up down over the hill from us in “Hanson’s hollow.” Crystal and many of her family had key jobs at C.W. McLeod Fisheries. Her brother David, a skilled forklift driver, was responsible for many a truck getting to the U.S. ferry on time. This is indeed a sad loss of a woman gone too soon. Thinking of you at this heartbreaking time.
