WAGNER – Edna Faustina, of Summerville, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Ryan hall, Bridgewater on Tuesday, February 6, 2018
Born in Sable River, Shelburne County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Isabel (Goulden) Hammond.
Faustina was a former employee with K.& W. Bookbinding in Liverpool in her early years. She worked as a clerk for the former Stedman’s and Peoples Stores in Liverpool. She was also a clerk at J.P.’s Sweet Shoppe for a number of years located on Main Street in Liverpool. Faustina enjoyed variety shows and country music. She looked after many children but always enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Faustina is survived by her husband of thirty eight years J. Leander; her sons David (Jocelyn) Broughm of Branch LaHave and Phillip Broughm of Bridgewater. Her grandchildren Kelley, David and Candace and her great grandchildren Emily and Zach.
Faustina was predeceased by her first husband, Merrill Broughm, her sisters Kathleen Zwicker, Nancy Ringer-Huskins, Dorothy Dixon, Marion in infancy and Eleanor Thompson. Her brothers Fielding and Osborne.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Reception to follow. A private family burial will take place at a later time in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Riverhead Road, Port Mouton.
