So sorry for your loss, Gordon, Lucille & Mark and families! She will be missed by all of us that shared church, sewing circle and any other activities that a small community is involved in. She taught me how to crochet and we enjoyed making our potholders and dishclothes together. She enjoyed watching tennis so I learned how to enjoy that with her too. Will miss her dearly and thank her for all her wisdom and spirit. Love you and will miss you dear Lady!

So sorry to hear of Marie’s passing. I’m met her while doing my psych rotation at Cole Harbour Rehab Centre. To say she made it bearable was an understatement. We became fast friends and she was a wonderful mentor and friend over the years. Many times she was my confidant when I needed impartial advice. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Treasure all your memories as they will be a tremendous gift to share as you navigate this difficult time. Hugs and love to you all.

My deepest sympathy to Marie’s family. Marie and I were a big part of each other’s lives each summer and stayed in constant contact over the winter…she was a woman I loved and called family. I will miss my great friend and know her loss is really going to hit me when I go to the cottage where we spent so many days swimming, playing cards and sharing meals. She will remain in my heart forever. Rest in peace, Marie….say Hi to Bill for me.

It’s taken me some time to write this condolence because it’s taken time to absorb the loss. Marie walked into my life and hair salon more than thirty years ago. We had our first appointment, and every Friday since that day, she was loyal.
Marie was wise, gentle, kind, energetic, an excellent sewer, stubborn, and sometimes downright disagreeable and I loved her deeply. There were a few times we would agree to disagree, and that was good enough for us. I could tell her my secrets and I knew they were safe, and sometimes she would share a secret of her own. She saw me through a lot of lifes issues and I cherished her compassion and wisdom.
I told her often she reminded me of Lily Tomlin. She always rattled back the same, “don’t say that, she’s homely”. Marie was beautiful and a real “looker” far into advanced age.
So many memories we have made, and I know I will always remember her, and I already miss her so much.
To her family. You have lost a most beautiful lady, cherish a life well lived and bless you.
Goodbye my dear, dear friend, you have taken a piece of my heart with you. Rest now, Marie.

Gordon & Mark and family. She was a wonderful sweet friend and part of our Herman family. Every week during COVID Helen & I Denise would set up up our table for a video meeting and play cards. It was good to laugh during those times when we had to isolate. During Helen’s illness she was always there for us And would stay with Helen and help whenever I needed her.
Marie was always ready to give of herself and always remembered. With the loss of Helen & Marie these last two months – we lost the two sweetest ladies ever

I am so sorry to hear of Maries passing and sorry that I didn’t get up to see her one last time but I wouldn’t have taken the chance with covid. She was an amazing woman respected and loved. She started as my instructor at Cole Harbour, than turned in to my landlord for a short time while I searched for an apartment and from there a lifelong friend. She always gave the best advice and was a wonderful talker you could have a conversation about anything although we usually ended up fixing healthcare. She will be missed by all who had the privilege ( and I do mean privilege) of knowing her and becoming a part of her life. And now she goes home to be with Harry
