It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our mom and grandmother, Amy Marie Titus, 83, of Caledonia, Queens County on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 peacefully at home with her loving family by her side.
Amy was born in Milton on March 31, 1932, a daughter of the late Stanley and Laura (Martin) MacNutt, of Milton.
Amy grew up in Milton and later moved with her family to West Caledonia. She was a hardworking lady who worked at the North Queens Nursing home for many years. She loved the outdoors; enjoying gardening, splitting wood, hunting, three wheeling, ski-doing and road trips. She always had a warm, friendly smile on her face, was known for her great sense of humor and warm loving heart and, above all else, Amy was most passionate about her family and spending time with them.
She is survived by her second husband Alfred, sons Allan (Madeline) Tufts of Westfield, John Tufts (Ronna Young) of Harmony, daughter Hilda Simpson of Stanley Section, daughter in law Carolyn Tufts of Annapolis Royal. Amy was a proud grammie of 12 – Tracy, Junior, Charlotte, Marcus, Wilson, Melissa, Rachel, Davey, Katie, Jordan, Reannyn and Jolene. And a loving great grammie of 24 – Katrina, Colton, Dixie, Krystal, Tyler, Samantha, Makayla, Wesley, Haley, Jaxon, Brooklyn, Layne, Rebecca, Vanessa, Brandon, Cameron, Aiden, Abigail, Logan, Madison, Christopher, Jessica, Nolan and Alanna. She also leaves brothers Victor, of West Caledonia, Mervin of Liverpool, Lorne “Buzzy” (Terry) of Grand Prairie, AB, and sister Maxine (Ralph) Boutilier of Hackett’s Cove.
She was predeceased by her first husband Gordon Tufts, son St. Clair, daughter Phyllis Merry and sisters Marion Acker, Greta Plummer, Betsy Coombs; brothers Gordon, Hallett, Walter, Merrill, infant Maurice.

Offer Condolence for the family of Titus, Amy Marie

Evelyn and Family
Sorry to hear about your loss. Our thoughts are with you.
Delbert & Mary Weare
Our Sympathy goes out to a very large Family. We knew all of Amy’s Children and most of her Grand Children. Amy was always so friendly when and where ever we met her. Her smile was what you always saw first, That is just how the Family should remember her. We will surely miss her smile also. There is a very important Passage in the Bible that speaks of a resurrection that will include Amy one day in the future. It is John 5:28,29
How happy she will be that day. For now she has no pain or suffering nor will she ever have any again. All our love and best wishes to all.
