Condolence from Patricia on August 12th, 2013 3:58 pm

My Aunt Lou, always quick with a smile and a hug and had a laugh that would light up a whole room. Family visits were treasured times and I always looked forward to seeing my favorite Aunt and Uncle. I admired Lou’s sense of class and style all the while being down-to-earth. It was a treat to see my Dad, her brother, who adored her and still teased her no matter how old they were. Steve, Lin, Jane you are all in my thoughts at this time.

Dear Jane, Stephen and families,
We are so very sorry for the loss of this wonderful lady. Lou was always a ray of sunshine. She and I would always say, “we are neighbors, but only see each other downtown.” We always promised to share a bottle of wine, but regretfully, that never happened. We raise our glass to her tonight. She was such a great lady. I hope she and Jim are sharing a glass right now.
Love, Cheryl & Neil

Condolence from Nancy on August 13th, 2013 6:21 am

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

I also remember our family vacations spent down east which always included a visit with Aunt Lou, Uncle Jim and cousins Steve and Jane. It usually included a day at the beach and stopping for the world’s best fried clams on the way home! I was always welcomed by Lou in her home even when we would arrive unnannouced after 5 or 10 years. Such a great lady and I know Dad was proud that she was his sister.

Aunt Lou, I raise a glass (or two) to you. Your song is ended but the melody lingers on.

Nancy, Stewart, Christopher and Jonathan
