Clifton and family. I was so sorry to see Meta’s obituary in the paper today. I always remember the times you came to our restaurant in Bridgewater and Caledonia. You two were a steady there, and almost like family. Lost touch with you after I moved but thought of you often and did happen to see you one day at the I think, Seascape Clifton and found out Meta was not well. Take care of yourself and I do know how you must feel and that you will miss her very much. Bonita Slevin

Condolence from Muriel (“Uncle” George Conrad’s daughter) Sperry on August 20th, 2010 6:45 pm

To Clifton, Doug, Norma and Families:

Sorry to read of Meta’s passing. I have many wonderful memories of good times our families had together – the picnics, the summers Meta, Doug & Norma lived at Voglers Cove in the “Do Drop In” cabin, etc.
On Aug, 2 my husband (Stewart), daughter (Michelle) and I spent the afternoon at Thomas Raddall Park. It was a beautiful day; we had a picnic lunch and as we walked the trails it brought back many memories of our picnics at Herring Rock. I was surprised to see the camp still standing. The other day I was looking at the old photos I took on some of those May picnics.

Meta lived to be a great age and will be greatly missed but the wonderful memories will live on.

Our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.

Sincere Sympathy from Muriel (“Uncle” George Conrad’s daughter), Stewart & Michelle Sperry, Hubley & Broad Cove

PS. We still have the family homestead in Broad Cove and spend quite a lot of time there. We keep in touch with Reanie also.

Sympathy to you all. A lovely woman who I remember well growing up in the same community. Playing at her house with Norma and spending some time at Herring Rock as well on week-ends, walking the beach or dune bugging it, it was wonderful. Hang to memories they are precious. Condolences to Norma and Doug and all of their familes.
