STEWART – Mary Diane 77, Western Head, Queens County.
We are sad to announce that Mary Stewart passed away peacefully on August 22, 2023 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, NS
Born in Liverpool and raised in Milton, Mary was a daughter of the late Cecil and Irene (Wambolt) Roy.
Mary was a member of the Church of Christ in Milton and taught Sunday School. Mary worked at many jobs. In her younger years, she delivered The Chronicle Herald. She also worked for Russell Hirtle, David Bursey, Gene Ingram and, of course, Bluewave Seafoods and Mersey Sea Foods. She was an avid reader, enjoyed watching T.V. and loved to cook, bake and work in her garden. At the end of her life, Mary kept in touch with the world through Facebook. She was the best mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. We are certainly going to miss her.
Mary is survived by her daughter Teresa (Jeff) Langley of Western Head and her granddaughter Katie Langley. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Helen Harrington of brooklyn and her family and her brother Sandy (Carol) of Annapolis Royal and his family.
Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her daughter Margaret Ann.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. At Mary’s request, there will be no public funeral service, but a private family graveside service will beheld at a later date. No flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com

However, we just reconnected a few years ago when shopping downtown and she was still the same sweet Mary.
