
Stewart, Dora Margaret, 82, of Milton, Queens County, formerly of Peggy’s Cove, passed away on Wednesday, February 27th, 2013, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.
Born in Dartmouth, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Eva (Turpinat) Grey.
Dora worked for many years at the Halifax International Airport in the Flight Kitchen. She was an accomplished Knitter, who loved to knit for her family and friends.
She is survived by a son Ron, of Sackville, Nova Scotia, grandchildren Robert, Eva, Jennifer, Linda, Tammy, Mary, Thomas, Randy; 21 great grandchildren; sister Mabel Keyes, of Dutch Settlement.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Lawrence; daughter Judy Mortimore; brothers Roy, Willis, Ross, James and Gordon.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A private family service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Queens General Hospital Medical Ward. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.chandlersfuneral.com
