
Smith – Shirley M., 91, of Harmony, Queens County passed away in Queens General Hospital on November 27th, 2014.
Born in Harmony Mills, she was a daughter of the late James and Rhoda (Brooks) Smith.
Shirley worked for the Province of Nova Scotia Department of Health as a secretary for over twenty four years.
She is survived by her niece: Margaret Ross of Dartmouth, Nephews Jim Ross and Bill (Heidi) Ross both of Harmony, great nephews Chris Ross of Caledonia, Matthew Ross of Alaska, and Peter Kraseman of Dartmouth.
She was predeceased by her sister Margaret and brother Ray.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Christ Anglican Church, Caledonia. Pastor Stephen Kristenson officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations may be made to Christ Anglican Church or to North Queens Nursing Home.
