I saddens me so that your Mom as passed away. I am so grateful for the times that we shared over the years. The early years when Tanya was a baby and Ruby was her first “Nanny” who cared for her while I was working. We always referred to Ruby as “Nanny Scobey” We will certainly miss visiting her at Queens Manor. Whenever I see or look at a Jigsaw Puzzle, I’ll remember your Mom.

Condolences to all the family on the loss of Ruby, ‘Auntie Ruby’, as you all know I called her.
I was honored to have her as a close friend for many of my early adult years. She had a profound effect on me, always sharing her kindness, love, understanding & compassion. My children adored her, also calling her Auntie. Her sister, Sylvia, was a best friend of mine and between those 2 very special women, I learned the honor & integrity of being a new bride & mother. My appreciation of being a close friend within these families knows no bounds. I will never forget sweet Auntie Ruby.
Sympathy, love and hugs to you all.
Byron

This wonderful lady was also a big part of my life the last few years. Believe it or not, I’m not a big fan of doing puzzles, but yet any chance I got, I would stop in to help miss Ruby. Sometimes just a quick visit to chat about anything and everything…..I know we shouldn’t have favorites, but Ruby certainly had a special place in my heart….there wasn’t a working day gone by that I wouldn’t walk by her without a “good morning miss Ruby”……and she would come back with “good morning my child”. and if she was at an activity and I would walk by, she always made sure to waive! she will certainly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and spending time with her….Queenie, Nancy and families thank you for sharing your mom!!
Now what miss Ruby?!?!
