To the family of Gene:
So sorry to hear of your loss. I bought my first swinging chair from him and Robbie. Nicer man you couldn’t find. I know, especially Patricia with all the recent losses she has had, will be missing her trio. Her mom, Robbie and Gene. After her mom passed, she took her rightful place in taking Robbie and Gene places. A big hole will be left in a lot of hearts, please fill them with good memories.

Condolence from Catherine Hatt on December 15th, 2010 12:19 pm

To the family of Gene:
I am sorry to hear of the passing of Gene. It was so sudden and unexpected. I enjoyed talking with him when he came into the Superstore. Both he and Robbie were shy but we in the deli wore them down as time went by and enjoyed teasing with them when they came in to shop. Gene would have the biggest smile and laugh and in return would kid with us. I will miss him, especially since he had me trained to have his treat of seafood ready for him when I saw him come through the door; that was our joke. Bless everyone who knew him and loved him. Patrica in particular has gone though alot in the past few years with the loss of her mother, uncles and pets there will be a big hole in the heart, but remember the good times.
