To my dearest friend Marjorie and family,
There are no words to express how saddened I feel with the loss of your mother and patriarch of your family. I got to see her on her 89th birthday and she was my Helen/Ma; and I felt that it may have been the last time, so I left comforted by, what may be my last memory of her in person. She was my swimming buddy at White Point, we shared the drive almost every day. These are the things that will comfort me, I am sure you as a family also have wonderful memories too. The one thing I do know for certain, when she said “ I love you “ I knew it was so. So ma, I know you are with your family and are finally at peace, so one last thing, I will see you soon, Okie, Dokie Ma! I love you Marjorie! With sincere condolences, Bonnie Gay Hartlen/Norman Edward Rafuse.

We’ve known Helen all our lives, being Brian’s aunt, and the mother of one of my closest friends since we were 12 years old. I took only one of her yoga classes more than 20 years ago, and felt aching in every bone in my body, even my fingertips….yet she could tie her own body into knots. She was a kind, sensitive, talented lady, and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
