It is with heavy hearts that the family of David Clark Reed announce his passing on June 18, 2017.
David was a dedicated husband, father, and brother to four siblings. His career as a Wildland Firefighter spanned over 33 years yet his passion for the great outdoors was lifelong.
David will be remembered for his gentle nature, thoughtfulness, quiet strength and quick wit.
A heartfelt thanks to the Palliative Care Team and Care Coordinators for assuring David’s final wish was fulfilled – to see his property one last time and remain home for his final days.
Gone but Forever in our Hearts.

Many good memories of cousin Dave. A strong quiet jokester comes to mind when I reflect on David. I remember him working for the forest service in Gold Beach and lived in a studio apartment that was no bigger than what many people would call a garden shed. Yet, I, as a young teenager thought it was the coolest place ever.
Missing that big smile peeking through that amazing bushy beard. Love you Dave.
