Sorry to hear that your mom went so fast. I enjoyed knowing both your mon & dad, not only throught the Fire Dept. but as friends as well. If there is anything I can do here for you, I am just back the lane.
It is abad time of the year to loose anyone, but now is worst, but your mom would want you to be with your family over the holday and remember them both.

We were very sorry to hear of Charlotte’s death. She was our neighbour, and a very good one. Her cheery smile and enthusiastic greeting always made one feel better. She had the same birthday as Philip, and always gave him a present – a kind and generous lady. We’ll miss her a lot. Philip and Cynthia Slayton

Hi Linda,
Your mother had such life and energy, it is hard to imagine Port Medway without her. She always lit up Long Cove Rd.– with and without the yellow car!
I know Philip has written to you separately, but from both of us, please accept our most heartfelt condolences.

our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. she will be greatly missed. Melba.
Oh Linda,it was a sad day for Port Medway when Charlotte left that last day for the hospital.I feel she knew she would not return, only in OURRR thoughts.I worked very closely with Charlotte for many years in church business, and it was always a pleasure and a hoot, with the two of us.We did many Variety shows together over the years, and she even worked on the last one i had, which made it seem like old times. She has done so much for Port in many ways, and always there to help with anything. We will all miss her muchly.Everyone loved her, and that may give you some comfort.I will be thinking about you always in your sadness. With more love.
To all who knew and loved Charlotte,
I was fortunate enough to become closer to Charlotte this past summer and spent many evenings sharing a meal with her at our always gracious host, Nancy Griffen.
I feel honered that I had that time with Charlotte as she enriched my life with her always upbeat attitude, genuine love and a laugh that was infectious.
I know we will all miss her so very much but her spirit will go on forever as she was one of a kind to say the least.
My deepest concolences, Rhonda
Charlotte was a good friend and she will be missed by all who knew her. Lydia
