Greif is love with no place to go.
To say you will be missed by many is an understatement. I can say with certainty that you touched the lives of many with your beautiful heart and nurturing caring nature. Verna was a person I aspire to be, perfect balance of strong, independent, loving, caring, vivacious and full of life. She taught me more than one lesson, even when she thought I wasnt listening.
Gary all my love goes out to you, I only know the difficulty I am experiencing knowing she has passed and cannot even begin to sympathize with the massive void you are experiencing. Just remember she wouldnt want you to be sad, she would be yelling at you to smarten up. Love you big guy xxo.
Heather Cook (nee Lawrence)

Dear Gary,
We want to let you know how sad we were to hear of Vernas’ passing. Verna was a beautiful gift to this world and to you.
Her acts of kindness will live on in the memories of many for years to come. When we loose someone we love it is a very painful time in our lives, that is the price we pay for loving and you and Verna made it obvious that much love was shared between the two of you. So blessed you are for that. So keep the memories alive, hold them close in your heart and let them help you get through those hard times. Remember her laugh, I know we will.

Here we are many years after, I still smell your perfume, hear your laughter, share your love of cats, gardening and decorating … everything is good … but my heart is still hit by waves of missing you. I am approaching the day that you jokingly said to me ” are you really going to marry that guy ? Yes and I will softly carry you with me on that day around my neck close to my heart where you will always be. You may not be with me on my day but I know you will send me a sign as always … forever loved and missed.
