Pitblado, Beryl W.
Our beloved Beryl passed away peacefully at Queens General Hospital on January 13, 2018.
Beryl’s life was an adventure filled with passionate zest and energy. She was a world traveler, a renowned cook and hostess, both a connoisseur of music, art and culture and a practicing artist whose, rug-hooking, watercolours and basket-making created beautiful things. Her career in business services gained her many colleagues and wide recognition. Especially as “Mrs. P.”, the office administrator at the RCMP, she often saved the day.
She is survived by her loving husband, John, her treasured son, Jonathan (Linda), her sister, Ruth Cann. Several grandchildren remember her with great affection. A very special thank you to Rosemary Westhaver for her loving and careful attention to Beryl as her devoted care-giver and companion.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A private family memorial will take place at a later date. No flowers by request, memorial donations may be made to Zion United Church, Liverpool, or to the Queens General Hospital Foundation. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com

To the Pitblado Family.
As a young Cst arriving at my second posting in Liverpool in 1984 Mrs P was very kind and attentive to myself and my family! The members at the detachment at the time certainly played a few pranks on her over the years but she took it all in stride ! She was very loyal to her boys in red! Fondly remembered,

John, Jonathan and family,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of “Mrs P”. I fondly remember her while growing up at Fort Point and seeing her right next door to our home several times in the run of a week. She was a kind and caring lady who was like family. She offered wise and gentle advice on occasion and was often around to help when it was needed most. She even signed the papers to have my emergency appendectomy . She has a place in my heart and I have many warm memories. Rest In Peace Mrs.P.

Mrs. Pitblado was such a kind and caring soul and I am saddened to learn of her passing. I always enjoyed her visits to our shop in Liverpool over the years where we would spend more time chatting than shopping because she was such an interesting lady. Some years ago she gave me one of her paintings as a gift and I will treasure it even more. My sincere condolences to the Pitblado family at this very sad time.
Debra Chandler
Dear John,
My heart and soul wept when I heard that one of my favourite friends was gone. Beryl taught me much about life, relationships, goals and persistence. Above all, she modelled determination and joy in what you have. I shall miss her.
Bless her heart, and yours, too. I cherish our last visit, when she came so present and we talked and laughed.
You will have a very large hole in your world, but you can rest, and know that you gave her such comfort and love to keep her world intact til the end.
I will come visit when I get home this spring.
Sending peace and comfort.
