PEACH – Barry Leigh, 64, of Caledonia, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 13, 2020.
Born in Liverpool, Barry was the son of the late Donald and Elizabeth (Coombs) Peach.
Barry was an avid outdoorsman spending many days enjoying the water, and many others spent wandering the woods. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and four-wheeling. Barry spent countless hours sharing his love of the wilderness with his beloved grandchildren, spending as much time with them as possible. He has left them with an indescribable legacy that they will continue to cherish forever. Barry had a fierce , deep love for his grandson Jacob and his granddaughter Sophie. Barry had many special friends. Many from his fishing days over 30 years with Mersey Seafoods in Liverpool. A special mention of his fishing buddies Shawn Henderson and Rhonda Kromke of Liverpool who shared many adventures on the lake with Barry. Barry will be remembered by his kind generous heart and his big hearty laugh.
Barry leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years Dorothy (Dolliver). His two loving sons, Michael of Liverpool and Darren (Krista) of Colpton. Grandchildren Jacob and Sophie of Colpton, his pride and joy. Mother in law, Elizabeth Ross of Liverpool. Brothers Ronald (Mary) of Greenfield, Kevin (Maxine) of Bridgewater, Douglas (Karen) of Greenfield and Stephen (Anita) of Greenfield. Sisters Wendy Peach of Hinton, AB. And Tammy Peach (Rene) of Lac La Biche, AB. His special little buddy Chase Mansfield of Westfield, who loved Barry like a grandfather. Cremation to take place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. At Barry’s Request, there will be no funeral service.
