Debbie

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Idella’s passing. She was one amazing LADY, I always loved going over to your house when I stayed at Grampie and Grammie’s-you were just across the road!!!
One of my memories of your Mom is that she made the most fantastic fudge and the nightly trips to the park with your parents, also exploring the treasures overhead in the porch!!

I am thinking of you at this sad time and may your memories help you through these days.

Love

Vicki

Debbie, I want to express my sincere sympathy in the passing of your mom. It is not an easy road to loose someone you love. She was a wonderful lady and i have known her all my life and i remember her as a kind, friendly lady always having a smile. In my working years i got to spend more time with her and we would have some wonderful chats talking about the years when we lived in Maitland Bridge. I regret that I am unable to be at the funeral as i am working that day and cannot be there but my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
With deepest sympathy – Gail

Condolence from Carolyn Botin on January 6th, 2010 1:12 am

Debbie,
I will be thinking of Aunt Idella all day today ( Wed ) and praying for you as you get through this time. Wish I were there for support, to share a hug and some tears.
I was laughing at Vicki’s memories of times at your house. Our visits always involved LOTS of good food, drives to spot deer –on and off the park–and I was always rooting around in the old porch or the attic hunting for treasures too. Dad was always teasing your Mom about the fine accomodation at the Parker Lodge.
Mom and Dad and Aunt Idella sure had some wonderful times together in the later years. Nothing held them back on their road trip adventures, esp to PEI to visit us and John and Annalise.
Wolf is on the road again but he sends along his sympathy. You know how fabulous he always thought Aunt Idella was.
I will miss her so much, things won’t quite be the same without Aunt Idella.
XO Carolyn
