
Oickle – James “Jimmy” Victor, 74, of Harmony, Queens County, passed away suddenly at home on June 30, 2020.
Born in Liverpool, Jimmy was the son of the late Ralph and Geraldine (Orme) Oickle.
He worked with the Town of Liverpool for numerous years, until he left due to illness. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed watching wrestling and spending time with his fur baby Sasha.
He is survived by his daughter Nancy (Glen) Mansfield of Harmony; son Wayne of Liverpool; two sisters Rose (Eric) Lowe of Milton and Virginia Whynot of Liverpool. Four grandchildren Kyle of Harmony, Tiffany (Justin Trethewey) of Chester Basin, Melanie (Cory Peach) of Alberta, and Brittany (Ryan Frank) of Alberta. Great grandchildren Lillia, Layton, Alex, Alaynah all of Alberta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his daughter in law Tina Richard.
He was predeceased by a brother Ralph Wayne and maternal grandparents Victor and Josie (Whynot) Orme and paternal grandparents Winfred and Beulah (Martin) Oickle.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS
