
Oickle – Harry Robert Jr.., 82, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 18th, 2020.
Born in Liverpool, Harry was a son of late Harry and Jessie (Daury) Oickle.
Harry worked for the former K & W Bookbinding in Liverpool and did custodial work for the fire hall. Harry was all about sports, but especially enjoyed baseball, (he was a huge Toronto Blue Jays fan!), bowling, horseshoes and bingo.
Harry is survived by his sisters Ellen Newton of Kapuskasing ON., Shirley Moores of Milton.
Besides his parents, Harry was predeceased by sisters Mary Meade, Florence “Nora” Lowe, an infant sister Nora, his brothers Burton, Owen, Roland, Ronnie, Reggie, and an infant brother.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral service will be Monday March 23rd, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Road, Liverpool. So sorry to hear of Harry’s passing. Growing up in the area, we all knew Harry. He used to stop and talk when he was walking to town for the mail.
