Burt was a huge part of my childhood as I was best friends with his daughter Christina. Always welcomed me in and even in my adult hood never ever missed the chance to say hello and have a chat. Rip Burt.

Very saddened to hear of Burton’s passing. He was a schoolmate of mine so we shared may of life’s passages including school dances. I was very tall for my age and Burton not so much :))). He was brave though and asked me to dance a slow dance when no other boy would. We must have looked quite the pair but I will always remember him for his kindness and bravery. Deepest sympathies to his family.

Well I have only known Burt for the past 6 years of his life. But for some reason we became close friends, He was quite a man, we had a lot of laughs just hanging out. He became like another family member. My whole family thought the world of him. I remember when he was told by the doctor that he had that aneurysm in early 2019. Well they told him he would probably be dead by Nov 27 2019 and he was convinced that he was going to check out on that day. We were sitting at his place over at Morton House. Anyway the day came and went and there wasn’t to many days that he wouldn’t say. Well looks like I cheated them out of another day lol he always kept such a good attitude about it all. I would say you’re too stubborn to die. And we would laugh and continue on. We had our differences but we always seemed to get past what ever it was. Anyway I probably should stop babbling. I am really gonna miss the old bugger. But hopefully we will meet again. So long Burt from Lew and Char and kids your second family

So sad to see this quiet, kind soul has passed away. We went through school together, and I can not remember a cross word from him. He was so easy going and had a great sense of humor!
