It is with great sadness that we announce the passing peacefully at home of our loved one, Harold Morey Zwicker, on February 21, 2022 after a battle with cancer.
Born in Liverpool, Harold was a son of the late Elkanah and Deane (Schnare) Zwicker.
Harold was a machinist in his working years and retired from Michelin as a maintenance mechanic. He loved gardening, fishing, deer and moose hunting with his friend Frank Veinot.
Harold was a member of the Medway River Salmon Association, past volunteer fireman for 40 years with Charleston Fire Department and a member of the Native Council of Nova Scotia.
Harold is survived by his wife Judith (Anthony); his sons Robert (Cam Goguen) of Mill Village and Stephen (Margot Amero) of Gilbert’s Cove. His grandchildren Jonathan and Mariah Goguen-Zwicker. His sister Bonnie Henderson of Brooklyn.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. At Harold’s request, there will be a service for his immediate family and close friends at his hunting camp in the spring. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Queens General Hospital Foundation, Bethany United Church, Mill Village or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
