Born in Liverpool, Gordon “Gordie” was the son of the late Kim and Lily (Fong) Wong.
Gordie was born in Liverpool, but spent his youth from the age of 1 until his early teens, growing up just outside of Hong Kong, before returning to Canada with some of his siblings to attend school in Liverpool.

His amazing culinary skills also brought local fame to the family restaurant, Wong’s, located in downtown Liverpool. “Best Chinese Food in the Province”.
