Wolfe – Phyllis Noreen, 91, of Mersey Point, Queens County, passed away at Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on March 13, 2024.
Born in Liverpool, Phyllis was the daughter of Ainsley and Anna (Morreau) Levy.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Phyllis’ family meant everything to her and she enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and then her great-grandchildren.
Phyllis is survived by daughters Betty (Frank) Beals of Liverpool, Noreen (Walter) MacDonald of Mersey Point, Dolly LeBlanc of Upper Sackville, Krista (Troy) Forrest of Mersey Point. Grandchildren Amanda Kotlar of Charlottetown, PEI, Natasha Beals (Aaron Keeley) of Bridgewater, Scott MacDonald (Jessica Turner) of Saint John, NB, Cole (Tianna) MacDonald of Grand Anse, Cape Breton, Crystal (Kenny) James of Middle Sackville, Jason (Holly) LeBlanc of Calgary, Alberta, Tanisha (Billy) MacDonald of Marie Joseph, NS. Great grandchildren Ellis Keeley, Carmen MacDonald, Emmett MacDonald, Alexander James, Isabella James, Addison LeBlanc, Sophie LeBlanc and Colby MacDonald; Sister in-law Shirley Levy and many nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her husband of 70 years Gerald Wolfe, granddaughter Tasha Smith, son in-law Paul LeBlanc, brothers Harvey, Leslie, Ralph, sisters Ena Greek, Gladys Naugler, Evelyn Saulnier and Jean Croft.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. At Phyllis’ request, there will be no service at this time. Burial will take place at a later date. No flowers by request, Donations may be made to Queens General Hospital Foundation, Liverpool or the IWK Children’s Hospital , Halifax, NS. Online condolences may be made below.
