d. March 23, 2024

Williams; Marjorie J., 74, of White Point, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital Liverpool, on Saturday, March 23, 2024, with family by her side.
Born in Quebec, Marjorie was a daughter of the late George and Grace (Burgess) Chouinard.
Marjorie worked clean up at a fish plant in her early years. She enjoyed playing yahtzee and cards, but her passion was bingo. She was known to her family as the Bingo Queen! She also enjoyed going to the valley to pick apples and, although not a true hobby, she did some fishing and actually caught a halibut. She loved Christmas and always had her nails done no matter how bad she felt! She loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marjorie is survived by her husband Wade to whom she was married thirty-three years. She is also survived by her daughters, Tina (Craig) Inness of Charlottetown, PEI and Judy (Kevin) Whynot of White Point. Her son, Bobby (Angie) of Brooklyn. Her grandchildren, Cassidy (Matthew MacAdams), Monica (Andrew) Roy, Chris (Brittany Whynot), Colin (Temira Axworthy), Holly (Nathan) Fredericks and Hunter. Her great-grandchildren Aubree MacAdams, Payton and Brody Inness and Sunny Fredericks. Her sister, Betty Nauss of Mill Village and her brothers, George (Susan) of Port Medway and Gordon (Mildred).
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A celebration of Marjorie’s life will take place on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in Port Medway Fire Hall. No flowers. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
