Cecil Everett Whynot

WHYNOT – Cecil Everett, 76, of Milton Queens County, It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Cecil on November 13, 2023, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in Milton, Cecil was a son of the late Herbert “Herbie” and Olive (Wamboldt) Whynot.
He had the biggest heart a man could have. Every child or person who needed anything was always met with open arms and an open home. There wasn’t a day you didn’t walk through his front door without getting a huge hug, a plate of food and smart joke cracked your way. Cecil is remembered as someone who was an avid fisher and huntsman. He loved spending his time outside and always had his dog right by his side. He wore many hats in his life time, he was a father, grandfather, best friend, brother and son. It’s hard to put into words the heartbreak that comes with such a great loss. There will never be a day he isn’t talked about or remembered as he has left behind a beautiful family who will cherish and remember his warm smile and loving hugs everyday.
Cecil is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 56 years, Lucille (Hamilton); daughter Lisa (Peter) Theriau of Summerville; sons Troy ( Amanda Chouinard) and Christopher (Christine Hurshman) both of Brooklyn; brothers Irvin (Jeanette) and Elwood (Paula) both of Milton; grandchildren Joshua, Felicia, Brandi- Lynn, Kaylee, Christian and Colton; great grandchildren Addeline, Maxwell, Bella, Odette and Gage. He was “Papa” to Matthew and Graham Muise, Patrick Mcinnis , Rachel, Jenna and Patrick Foley and more. Special friends, Sandra and Dale Muise, Frances Foley, Susan and Donnie Foster, Gerald and many, many more. He is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Cecil was predeceased by his sisters Mary, Midge, Doris and Betty; brothers Roger, Tim, Junie “Jr” and Jordan
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, N.S. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. To share memories or condolences please visit www.chandlersfuneral.com
