Valerie Elizabeth Joudrey

JOUDREY - Valerie Elizabeth, 76, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away at Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Monday, October 13, 2025

Born in Liverpool, Valerie was the daughter of the late Ross and Nancy (Schrader) Whynot.

Valerie loved working at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #38, Liverpool, were she held numerous titles as a volunteer. She was a life member of both the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #38 and Ladies Auxiliary, she was sports chairman, ways and means chairman, secretary/ treasurer and second vice. Valerie enjoyed darts, helping with bingos, country music, soap operas, wrestling and cooking shows.

Valerie is survived by her husband Gary, sister-in-law Jean (David) Commerford of Middle New Cornwall and special K9 companion Jippy Six.

Valerie was predeceased by her parents.

Cremation has taken place under the directions of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Burial will take place following the service in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Rd, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. There will be a reception held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #38 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or charity of choice.
