George “Michael” Boyd Turner

Turner – George “Michael” Boyd, 73, of Milton, Queens County passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2020, in the Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Liverpool, he was the son of the late George and Jean (Lundrigan) Turner.
Michael lived an eclectic life doing many jobs throughout the years but he spent much of his time as a long haul truck driver. He also enjoyed travelling, having a yarn, hunting and the great outdoors. Michael also loved collecting firearms and was a longtime member of the Hollow Log Riffle and Pistol Association. He had a great sense of humor and a warm loving heart.
He is survived by his life partner, Carol Wigglesworth; daughter, Mikaela Turner-Tupper, of Wolfville; sister, Coralee Turner (Robbie Brown), of Milton.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Christine.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Service, Liverpool. A Celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Saturday, September 26th, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., from Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Burial will be in Milton Community Cemetery.
