Mary Ellen Smith

SMITH – Mary Ellen, 84, of Caledonia, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Sunday, November 27, 2016.
Mary was born in Main-a-Dieu, Cape Breton. She was a former waitress at the Little Red Restaurant in Bridgewater and Lanes Privateer Inn, Liverpool.
She is survived by her daughters Shelley (Aubrey) Whynot of Liverpool; Catherine (Ivan) Bowman of Maine; her son Wayne (Jeannie Weare) of Bridgewater; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Clifford and her son Barry.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, December 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Harmony Cemetery.
