Ruth Violet Silmarie

SILMARIE – Ruth V., 98, of Roseway Manor, Shelburne, formerly of Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Roseway Manor on Friday, April 15th, 2011.
Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late James and Laura (Bremner) Jollimore.
Ruth was a member of WINS, Brooklyn Chapter and enjoyed doing ceramic pottery. She was a devoted mother and excellent homemaker.
She is survived by her daughters: Helena (Lorne) Newson of Victoria, BC and Joyce (David) Jeffrey of The Woodlands, Texas. 14 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Hugo, sons Harry and Randall, sisters: Gladys, Lettie, Lilly and Vera and brothers Raymond, Russell and Clarence.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Homeand Cremation Service, Liverpool where a memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 19th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Lay Minister Peter Anthony officiating followed by a reception held in the funeral home.
