Sharon Elaine Rhyno

Rhyno - Sharon E., 72, of Milton, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Sunday, April 12, 2026.

Born in Liverpool, Sharon was a daughter of the late Percy and Gala (Manthorne) Hanson.

Sharon provided personal home care to families in her community for many years.

Sharon is survived by her husband Johnnie; her daughter Michelle Arnold of Conquerall Mills, her stepdaughter Candace Grant of PEI, her grandchildren Cherise, Brianna, Dawson and Zoey as well as her great-grandchildren Jay-Sean, Jasiah, Justice, Jadice and Gemma. Her sisters Virginia (Phillip) Laurendeau, ON, Pam (Brian) Foley of Milton, brother Allan (Karen) Manthorne of Liverpool, half-brother Edward (Beulah) Jollimore of NB, sister-in-law Debra Hansen of Hunts Point.

Besides her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her first husband Ronald Whynot, her daughter Elizabeth, infant sister Donna Lee and sister Barbara and her brother William “Billy”.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Zion Cemetery, Payzant Street, Liverpool. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
