Roy Eugene Schrader

SCHRADER – Roy E., 75, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in QE II Health Science Centre, Halifax on Sunday, September 3, 2023.
Born in Liverpool, Roy was a son of the late Ronald and Violet (Whynot) Schrader.
Roy worked for Michelin in Bridgewater for over 30 years until his retirement. He, along with his wife, Barbara and his best friend, Jake, enjoyed their daily drives around Western Head.
Roy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara (Robar), his daughter Tina (Carmen) Fralic of Milton, his sons Blaine (Mindy) of Bridgewater and Troy of Liverpool. His sisters Linda (Joey) Backman of Liverpool and Patricia (David) Tarr of Alberta.
Besides his parents, Roy was predeceased by his half sisters Judith MacDonald, Geraldine Stewart ad Marion Hartlen as well as his half brothers John and Fred Lannon.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. At Roy’s request, a private family graveside service will be held at a later date. No flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
