Ronald Charles Clattenburg

Clattenburg -Ronald C., 79, of Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away suddenly in South Shore Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 with his family by his side.

Born in Bridgewater, Ronald was a son of the late Charles and Mildred (Crouse) Clattenburg.

Ronald lived his whole life in Queens County and worked in Brooklyn. He enjoyed his gospel music on the Vision Channel, watching old westerns and spent many hours watching his favourite shows Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med. Ronald moved into the Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, in March of this year. He loved the people, whom he considered his family, the great home cooked meals and especially being with his wife of 60 years, Winnifred. He also enjoyed going on the bus with everyone around the local area. Ronald will be deeply missed by all his family and friends at Rosedale Home.

Besides his wife Winnifred (Beckwith), Ronald is survived by his sons Kevin (Angela), grandson Jonathan, five great grandchildren and one great great grandson and Timmy (Kim), granddaughters Jennifer and Jessie and one great granddaughter. He is also survived by a sister and brother.

Besides his parents, Ronald was predeceased by half sisters Sharon Zwicker, Ferne Whynot, Yvonne Miller and Jenniene Corkum and half brother Linwood Connolly.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. At Ronald’s request, there will be no funeral service at this time. Donations may be made to Rosedale Home for Special Care Bus Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Online condolences may be made below.
